If you don't find your application and you know that it's a different thread don't despair! We can make custom filters upon request. Other common thread sizes are 18mm and 1-12.

The Correct Part Number

The correct part number can be determined by matching the thread and the block sealing pad of your application with the specification listed. Most filters use a standard 2-5/8" mounting surface designated by an "ST". Those applications that use the larger mounting pad are marked with a "LG". Chassis and ground clearance should be checked to determine the correct height.

CM filters can be cross referenced to other brands of spin-on filters. If you have a problem trying to find the thread and o-ring sizes required by your application, call, fax, or email us with the part number of the filter that you are using now and we can find the right filter for you.

What comes first

When an engine starts to come apart and the chunks start to circulate would you want a filter with a bypass so that all those metal chunks start to score and gouge everything else?
