Our remote oil filter adapters can be used
in the installation of a remote mounted oil filter so that:
- It is located in a more accessible place for oil changes.
- It is out of the way of other components in the engine compartment.
- To achieve more ground clearance.
- To be able to run a better oil filter than was on the car
originally.

Spin-on threads |
| Most automotive spin-on filters use one
of five different threads and the sealing area of the filter is
usually one of two sizes. The most common O-ring size is the
2-5/8" size. The thread cross reference in our CM filter section
can give you the thread and pitch of most common applications. The
default O-ring size is the common 2-5/8" and the larger O-ring is
specifically called out where applicable. Also this information
should be available from many sources including aftermarket filter
catalogs, parts stores and dealerships. |

Billet vs
cast aluminum |
| Castings have a lower machining and material
cost. Billet aluminum has greater strength and material consistency
which makes it the ideal choice for racing applications. Stripping
out threads and cracking are less likely to happen when using a billet
aluminum piece. |

Shorter is
better |
| When installing any remote oil related parts
always try to keep the hoses as short as possible. |

 Chevy Remote Oil Filter Adapters are
designed for Wet Sump systems where a remote filter is desired.
Machined from billet aluminum and not a casting. Inlet and outlet
ports are 1/2" N.P.T. or -12 0-ring. Comes complete with hardware and
O-Ring gaskets. |

90° ROTATING BILLET
REMOTE OIL FILTER ADAPTER |
 90° Rotating Remote Oil
Filter Adapters are lighter & smaller but still retain
their unique design which permits the two 90 degree 1/2" NPT inlet
and outlet ports to be rotated. This simplifies hose and fitting
connections for all applications. Ideal when chassis or steering
components prohibit the filter from residing in the stock location.
Machined from billet aluminum and comes with all necessary hardware
and O-Ring seals. |

has 1/2" N.P.T. in and out ports and an extra 1/2" N.P.T.
port which can be used for a temperature or oil pressure
sender, or for an Accusump input. Left hand inlet and
right hand outlet. |

BILLET

 Billet aluminum remote spin-on filter
mounts are machined from billet aluminum, designed for use in
high performance applications. Features include two 1/2" N.P.T.
inputs and two 1/2" N.P.T out ports, they can be plumbed right to
left or left to right, for many plumbing options. The unused ports
can be used for; a temperature or oil pressure sender, or for an
Accusump input. These
mounts have a durable black anodized finish . |
